Jeff Miglicco — Faith. Leadership. Legacy

Entrepreneur, husband, and father of four, Jeff leads PureWay Compliance and champions safer, simpler sharps disposal—while modeling a standard of leadership rooted in faith, empathy, and disciplined execution

Opportunity didn’t come knocking, So I starting Knocking on Doors

I didn’t grow up with a playbook or even a plan.  My parents hoped I’d become a engineer (family trade) but I wasn’t a very good student in school. Right out of high school, bills showed up before opportunity ever did, so I went to work.

My first “office” was a sidewalk. I went door to door selling whatever I could which included windshield repair, home security systems, anything honest that paid the bills. I was attracted to sales early and dug in reading/watching any material I could get my hands on.  I heard more “no’s” than I could count, but those rejections taught me what classrooms rarely do which was humility, empathy, and the grit to keep showing up.

Each day was simple a real challenge, if you didn’t sell, you didn’t get paid 100% COMMISSION. That kind of pressure builds something inside you that never leaves. It taught me to listen, to communicate value, and to outwork excuses.

Step by step, I moved from the front door to the office boardroom. From residential sales into B2B selling commercial copier machines. Eventually, I started building companies of my own. Along the way.  I learned that success is a ungodly painful road of sacrifice, willpower and patience.

Now, as a husband, father of four, and CEO, I carry those same lessons forward: lead with empathy, build with purpose, and never lose touch with that fire that shaped you.

Small Starts, Big Lessons

Playing it safe wasn’t in my DNA early on. The smart road often turns out to be the smallest opportunity, so of course its been off road since the beginning.

My first venture, Prestige Mobile Media, was small, guerrilla marketing at its finest, and far from perfect—but it was mine. That experience led to PMM Delivery, a hotshot logistics company serving the oil & gas sector. Both were crash courses in leadership and humility that taught me more lessons then any university.

In 2013, I co-founded PureWay Compliance with a former client to bring innovation, and technology to a broken industry. We set out to make medical waste management more accessible and responsible for small practices and patients managing injectables at home.

Today, PureWay supports more than 300,000 locations nationwide. We are completing our 12th year in business with solid growth leading the nation as the only privately held manufacturer in this space.

The Next Chapter: Rocket Mode – Massive Scale

Growth in business involves several key stages. In the beginning, it’s you… Every decision, every delivery, every dollar earned. Then comes the early team that wears every hat, where everyone’s moving fast and learning even faster.

But the real tipping point happens when you stop running in the business and start building the machine that runs it. When you hire specialists better than you (hopefully), design systems that scale, and build leaders who multiply impact.

I call this phase Rocket Mode.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is accelerating the rate at which businesses grow by 10x.  Systems allow for massive scale, and the leadership team leading the way now gets to align vision further down the road all to achieve massive growth!

This isn’t about growing for growth’s sake. It’s about scale with purpose—maintaining precision, culture, and empathy while we build something that lasts.

The goal isn’t lift-off. It’s orbit. It’s a Rocket Ship!

Faith, Family & the Right Kind of Growth

How you grow in my opinion is just as important as how big.
For me, faith is the compass that keeps the mission aligned with purpose. It reminds me that leadership isn’t just about driving results. The real impact is when you can lead the right way—with humility, gratitude, and integrity.

At home, those same values hold true as a husband and father. The real measure of success is when to see a the growth in people just as much as on the balance sheet.  Developing future leaders that and watching them take the reins the right way justifies the effort it takes to build them.

True growth isn’t only measured in revenue or reach. It’s in how we lead, how we serve, and how we honor the people who trust us along the way.

Real reflections. No agenda. Just life, leadership, business, and faith.

I enjoy sharing the real impactful “whats happening” in my world.  The lessons, challenges, and moments that come with leading a company, raising a family, and staying grounded in faith.
